In addition to downloading new SoundScapes from our servers, you can also share your own creations with other BackSounds users.

 

BackSounds stores the details of your SoundScape components in a file with an .ssxml extension.  All you need to do is distribute this small file (via email, forum etc..)

 

You must ensure that each of the resources (sound and image files) within your SoundScape is decorated with a valid url, and that the resource exists on the internet at that url.  The BackSounds player will automatically attempt to download these resource files when your creation is opened at the destination.

 

You should also take care to check the distribution licence of any sound or image files you use, and to acknowledge the creator of the resource in your Sound objects.
