To specify a SoundScape to play whenever BackSounds starts, browse for the .ssxml file in the "AutoPlay" section.  This feature is only available in the full version of BackSounds.

To toggle automatic download of missing resource files, check or uncheck the "Attempt Downloads" box in the Preferences section.  This option can be used if you do not have an internet connection.

To toggle the display of Balloons whenever BackSounds is minimised, check or uncheck the "Show Balloons" box in the Preference section.

To make BackSounds start whenever you start your computer, check or uncheck the "Load on Startup" box in the Start Up section.  BackSounds will appear in your system tray when this option is selected, and can be combined with the autoplay feature described above.

You can change the location of sound, Soundscape and Image directories in the "Directory Locations" section.  This is for advanced users only.

To switch between DirectX sound devices, choose the appropriate sound device in the "Sound" section.  Changes will not take affect until the next time BackSounds is started.  This option allows you to direct your SoundScape to an alternative sound device, such as a Bluetooth headset.

Your licence key should appear in the "Registered" Version section.  This is described in more detail in How to Register.
